Our Activities & Programmes

Pradan Foundation empowers rural communities across Jharkhand through holistic programmes in health, education, livelihoods, and environment. Every initiative is driven by community participation, aiming for sustainable and inclusive development.

Livelihood & Women Empowerment

we believe that true development begins when individuals—especially women—gain control over their livelihoods and decisions. Our Livelihood & Women Empowerment program focuses on providing poor, tribal, and marginalized communities with the tools, skills, and support to become economically self-reliant and socially empowered.

Health & Nutrition

we believe that access to quality healthcare and proper nutrition is a fundamental right for every individual—especially in rural and tribal regions where health services are scarce. Our Health & Nutrition programme is designed to bridge the healthcare gap through affordable, accessible, and community-driven initiatives.

Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH)

Access to clean water and proper sanitation is essential for health, dignity, and development. At Pradan Foundation, our WASH programme aims to ensure that every individual in rural and tribal Jharkhand has access to safe drinking water, improved sanitation, and hygiene education.

Education & Child Protection

Education is not just a right — it is the most powerful tool to break the cycle of poverty. At Pradan Foundation, we recognize that vulnerable children, especially in rural and tribal areas, face numerous barriers to accessing quality education and protection. Through our Education & Child Protection programme, we work to ensure every child learns, thrives, and lives in a safe environment.

Environment & Disaster Management

At Pradan Foundation, we recognize that environmental sustainability and disaster resilience are critical for the survival and progress of rural and tribal communities. Environmental degradation, climate change, and frequent natural disasters disproportionately affect vulnerable populations. That’s why we work at the grassroots to promote eco-friendly practices and build resilient communities ready to face emergencies.

Artisan & Skill Development

Traditional artisans are the torchbearers of India’s rich cultural heritage. However, lack of support, market access, and modern infrastructure has pushed many of these skilled individuals into poverty and obscurity. At Pradan Foundation, we are committed to reviving, preserving, and promoting traditional arts and crafts while empowering artisans with the tools and training they need to succeed in the modern economy.

Our Founder

Mr. Anil Kumar Singh

Visionary Leader | Social Reformer | Grassroots Changemaker

Mr. Anil Kumar Singh, the founder of Pradan Foundation, is a passionate and committed social worker who has dedicated his life to the upliftment of underprivileged communities in Jharkhand. With a firm belief that sustainable development begins at the grassroots, he established the foundation in 2010 with the mission to empower rural lives through inclusive, participatory, and people-centered development.

Growing up in a rural environment himself, Mr. Singh witnessed the struggles of poverty, lack of healthcare, and absence of opportunities in tribal and backward regions. These experiences shaped his deep-rooted commitment to social justice, dignity, and equal access for all.

Over the past 14 years, under his leadership, Pradan Foundation has transformed into a multi-dimensional development organization, working across health, education, livelihoods, environment, disaster relief, and women empowerment. His hands-on approach, ethical leadership, and strong community connection have made him a respected voice in the development sector.
